SUBJECT: Road Allowance - Lot 2, Concession 4,
former Darlington.
Background:
The attached correspondence, dated April 29, 1980, is requesting
that a road allowance, geographically located in Lot 2, Concession
4, former Township of Darlington, be closed.
Report:
According to By-Law 2111, the status of the road allowance in
question is 'Unimproved' , and it has not officially been closed
by by-law.
Recommendation:
THAT, conditional upon favourable comments from the Planning
Department, and the concurrence of all abutting owners, a portion
of the road allowance in Lots 2 & 3, Concession 4, former Township
of Darlington, commencing at Regional Road No. 4. , southerly, for
a distance of approximately 4,300 feet, be closed.

That the recommendation in Report WD-72-80 be endorsed and,
conditional upon favourable comments from the Planning Department,
and the concurrence of all abutting owners, a portion Of the road
allowance in Lots 2 & 3, Concession 4, former Township of Darling-
ton, commencing at Regional Road 4, southerly, for a distance of
approximately 4 ,300 feet, be closed and conveyed, in accordance
with Town Policy.
