Subject: ONTARIO TRAFFIC CONFERENCE
Background:
The Ontario Traffic Conference has been in existence for some
thirty years and it's aim is to promote traffic safety and im-
prove conditions; the opportunity is provided for representatives
of the Police, Parking Authorities, Councils and Municipalities
(staff-) to meet and exchange ideas and initiate legislative
changes through Government action.
Any member delegate receives information, on a regular basis,
and may also attend Conferences and Meetings.
Report:
The attached is requesting information on delegates to be
given membership to the 1980 Ontario Traffic Conference.
Recommendation:
WHEREAS the fee for the 1980 Ontario Traffic Conference has been
paid on our behalf, by the Metro Regional Government , the foll-
owing delegates be enrolled:
1. The Mayor.
I
2. Chairman - Public Works Committee.
3. Director of Public Works.
I
4. Deputy to the Director of Public Works.
5. By-Law Enforcement Officer.
