Subject: Long Sault Ridge Runners Snowmobile
Co-operative Limited.
Background:
At the meeting of February 5, 1980, Public Works Committee, by
Resolution # W-17-80, which was amended by Council (see copies
attached) , initiated a meeting between the concerned parties
in the matter of a proposed underpass to Highway 35/115.
Report:
On February 29, 1980, the meeting was held, attended by Ms.
J.E. Bradley, Lawyer (representing Mrs. R.L. Beaucage) and Mr.
Lorne Crago, Trail Director of the Long Sault Ridge Runners
Snowmobile Co-operative Limited.
Discussion centered around snowmobile routes in the area of Lots
26 & 27, Concession 9 & 10, former Clarke Township. Various alter-
natives were suggested, but each party appeared to be reluctant
to compromise.
In view of the foregoing, it: is suggested that the matter be
discussed further, by this Committee, possibly 'In Camera' , if
deemed necessary.
