Subject: BY-LAW 80-12
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 79-1 for
the regulation of Parking, Standing or
Stopping.
Background:
The subject By-Law, 80-12, was tabled by Council at second
reading and referred back to the Public Works Committee for
further consideration.
Reports Nos. 4 and 234 were adopted by Council and are attached
hereto for information.
Report:
The purpose of the amendment to By-Law 79-1 is to enable various
maintenance works to be undertaken more efficiently by the pro-
hibition of parking and/or stopping at certain times on the
Connecting Links for both Bowmanville and the Village of Newcastle.
By-Law 80-12 has been reviewed and is found to conform to the
abovementioned reports.
Recommendation:
WHEREAS By-Law 80-12 is in accordance with resolutions previously
adopted by Council, it is recommended that the amendment to.By-Law
79-1 contained therein be finally passed.
