Subject: Ministry of Agriculture and Food,
Drainage Commissioner's Course, 1980.
Background:
Attached is data relating to the subject matter, which was
referred by the Town Clerk for a report to the Public Works
Committee.
Report:
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food have scheduled a course
to provide the latest information to municipal personnel in
relation to field or office functions in the administration
of Drainage Legislation. The literature indicates the choice
to attend for two days, two and a half days or the total four
and a half days of duration of the course.
Option A. This deals with the Drainage Acts and
the office administration aspects of same.
Option B Consists of construction, inspection,
maintenance and equipment aspects of
drainage.
Recommendation:
THAT one staff member of the Public Works Department be auth-
orized to attend all or part of the Ministry of Agriculture
& Food Drainage Course, as determined by the Director of
Public Works.
