Subject: ENCROACHMENT
Chapel Street, Bowmanville.
Background:
The subject matter was referred by the Town Clerk for a Report
and recommendation to the Public Works Committee.
Report:
Lot 57, Block 'C' of the Grant Plan (see attached) indicates an
encroachment of a residential dwelling onto Chapel Street, by a
distance of from 2.64 ft. to 2.98 ft.
Recommendation:
THAT permission for the encroachment be granted in respect of
the residential dwelling on Chapel Street, Bowmanville, as de-
fined on Merrill Brown Plan of January 9, 1980, File # 80001,
and that this encroachment be on a year-to-year basis for as
long as the land in question is not required for Municipal
purposes or public use; should the latter occurrence take
place, a six-month period of notice should be given.
