Subject: Tenders for Equipment.
Background:
Each year some equipment is scheduled for replacement, in an
attempt to retain a more constant, lesser, cost and in order
to reduce maintenance costs.
Report:
Funds for the replacement of equipment are derived from the
established Equipment Reserve Fund.
Recommendation:
THAT the Director of Public Works be authorized to call
tenders for equipment, throughout: the year, for which
funds are already allocated in Lhe Equipment Reserve Fund.
