Subject: PARKING - Dickson Street, Orono.
Background:
By-Law 76 - 30 provides for NO PARKING on various streets through-
out the Town of Newcastle and, within same, provisions are made
for No Parking on the south side of Dickson Street, between Mill
and Church Streets, Orono.
Report:
The Public Works Department experiences problems when effecting
Winter Maintenance in the subject area due to parked vehicles
and, with this in mind, No Parking is suggested on the north
side of Dickson Street.
Recommendation:
THAT By-Law 76 - 30 be amended to prohibit parking, anytime, on
the north side of Dickson Street, Orono, from Mill Street to
Church Street.
