Item: Overnight Parking.

Subject: Village of Newcastle - Connecting Link.

Recently a sub-Committee was established to consider the matter
of Overnight Parking on various streets in the Town of Bowman--
ville and, as a result, certain recommendations were made.
Report :
It is felt that similar recommendations, and the implementation
of same, would be most advantageous if applied to the Village of
Newcastle and would aid in effecting the winter maintenance of
the Connecting Link.
The Connecting Link is from North/Baldwin Streets, easterly, to
a point 625 feat cast of Beaver Street ; it is recommended that
the following restrictions be applied to this area:
(a) April 1 to November 15th.
NO STOPPING.
Monday - Friday. 6:30a.m. - 8:00a.m.
(b) November 16 to March 31st.
NO STOPPING.
Monday - Friday. 2:00a.m. - 6:30a.m.
Appropriate signing and street enforcement will be required to
unsure the effectiveness of the above restrictions.

Recommendation:
THAT "NO STOPPING" Restrictions be applied within the Connecting
Link of the Village of Newcastle and that By-Law 79 - 1 be
amended accordingly.
