Report : � �£1 : Since the time mentioned above the Mln|xLry has xto/cd that cost!; for constructing sidewalks, under u Hiotacry contracc , must he borne entirely by the Municipality aoJ` whereas the Ministry is now pre- paring o dcn18n for construction, a further review of the proposed sidewalks is suggested. / 2 . . . Resolution # W-413-78 requested that the Town be informed when the Project would be included in the Ministry forecast, and it is now indicated that thise advisement will be forthcoming in the not too distant future. In my opinion it is in the best interests of the Town that this matter be further discussed. Recommendation: WHEREAS the construction costs of sidewalks relative to Ministry Project No. 110-72-00 are to be borne by the Town of Newcastle, it is recommended that provision he made for the .location of same and, further, that the sidewalks be considered in the future in conjunction with development in which costs , thereby, would be defrayed by others.
