Director's Report to Public Works Committee.
Item: Easement Agreement.
Date: July 27, 1979.
Subject: Goodyear Canada Inc. & Town of Newcastle.
Ontario Street Storm Sewer.
Background:
An easement is required for the proposed Ontario Street Storm
Sewer Outfall.
Report:
Attached is a copy of an Easement Agreement between Goodyear
Canada Incorporated and the Town of Newcastle. The proposed
Agreement includes lands over which a Storm Sewer must cross
to achieve an acceptable outfall.
It is imperative that this matter be resolved prior to the call-
ing of tenders.
Recommendation:
THAT, conditional upon the written
concurrence of the Town Solicitor,
and concurrence by the Town Manager,
the Officers of the Town be authorized
to sign the Easement Agreement with
Goodyear Canada Incorporated.
