Subject: Road Allowance - Part of Lots 18 & 19,
Concession 10, former Darlington.
Background:
The proposed development known as "Burketon Hills" has noted an
unopened road allowance bisecting the subject property.
Report:
The road allowance between Lots 18 & 19, Concession 10, former
Darlington, is an original allowance for road, is unopened and
is 66 feet in width. This extends from the road allowance between
Concessions 9 & 10, in the south, to the road allowance between
former Darlington and Cartwright, to the north.
Recommendation:
THAT the subject road allowance be closed and conveyed to the
abutting owner, at an established appraised value, subject to
the owner agreeing to pay all costs involved.
