Subject: REPEAL OF APPOINTMENT BY-LAW
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . THAT Report CD-43-97 be received;
2 . THAT the By-law attached to Report CD-43-97 be approved.
BACKGROUND:
In April of this year the By-law Enforcement Division retained an adult
education student to work in the Parking Enforcement Section. This
student, Julianna McKeegan, worked with the regular officers for
approximately three months and was appointed by By-law # 97-70 as a
Parking Enforcement Officer.
Ms . McKeegan has since left the Division to return to her studies and
staff are therefore requesting that her Appointment By-law be repealed.

THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 97-
Being a By-law to Repeal Certain Appointment By-laws
WHEREAS certain persons have been appointed as By-law Officers in
the past and are no longer carrying out those duties :
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality
of Clarington hereby enacts as follows :
1 . The following By-law is hereby repealed:
i) By-law 97-70, Julianna McKeegan, Parking Enforcement
Officer
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 14th day of October, 1997 .
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 14th day of
October, 1997 .
