FOR MONTH OF DECEMBER 1995
Recommendations:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . THAT Report CD-13-96 be received; and
2. THAT a copy of Report CD-13-96 be forwarded to Animal Alliance of Canada.
1 . BACKGROUND
1 .1 For the information of Council, the table attached to this Report summarizes the
activities and revenues pertaining to Animal Control for the month of
December, 1995.
1 .2 Unfortunately, the number of euthanized cats was extremely high for the month
of December because of the presence of the feline distemper virus in the Animal
Control Shelter. This was reported to Council on January 8, 1996.
