THAT Report CD-27-94 be received; 2 . THAT the parties named on the attached Schedule A to By-law 94-79 be appointed as Parking Enforcement Officers for the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital property only. REPORT: On May 30, 1994 Council passed By-law 94-79, being a by-law to appoint certain persons as Parking Enforcement Officers for the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital. The By-law included a Schedule listing the persons who were to be appointed. Since that time two members of the Burns Security staff have left the hospital's employment and have been replaced. Stockwell Town Clerk 1// Chief Administrative Officer b RECYCLED PALED REMLE ILLS P1 DR­0 Ul RECYCLED PAPER THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW 94- being a by-law repeal Schedule A of By-law 94-79 and replace it with a new Schedule A to appoint certain persons as Parking Enforcement Officers for the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital WHEREAS Section 20 of the Police Services Act R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P15, Section 15(1) authorizes a Council of any Municipality to appoint one or more By-law Enforcement Officers who shall be Peace Officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the Municipality; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it desirable to amend By-law 94-79 by repealing Schedule A and replacing it with a new Schedule A; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows: v 1. Schedule A of By-law 94-79 is hereby repealed and replaced with a new Schedule A hereinafter attached and forming part of this By-law. 2. Those persons named on Schedule A. which is hereinafter attached and forming part of this by-law, are hereby appointed as By-law Enforcement Officers for the sole purpose of enforcing the Traffic By-law of the Municipality of Clarington on the private property of the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital at 47 Liberty Street South, Bowmanville, Municipality of Clarington.
