Knight Deputy Clerk Town of Newcastle 40 Temperance Street Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 3A6 Dear Ms. Knight, Let me begin by apologizing for the delay in responding to your letter. As I discussed with you, current rules respecting the issuance of Nevada licences limits each organization to sell tickets from one location only. Because it is difficult to determine whether an organization holds a nevada licence in any other municipality, our policy is that the organization may sell tickets only from the municipality in which they are based. We are in the process of revising our policies to allow organizations which have a demonstrated provincial mandate to sell nevada tickets from one location in each municipality. Final approval would still rest with the local municipal council. We are in the midst of completing all the administrative requirements regarding this change and hope to have a bulletin sent out to you in the near future describing eligibility criteria and how the process will work. Until this change has been effected, the current rules restricting nevada ticket sales to one location within the organization's home base municipality remain in effect. I hope this is the information you require, and again -apo-l-ogize -- ----- for the time it took for my response. Please feel fre Ili,6hc6° me if you have any questions. (;I t.
