Report CD-6-90 - 2 - February 19, 1990
Grants are available to owners of designated properties under the
Ministry of Culture and Communications "Designated Property Grant
Program" . The Ministry has indicated that funds are available and
it is appropriate that this application, which meets the programs
grant criteria, be processed at this time.
Generally, Council approves designated property grants in principle
prior to work being commenced. The Ministry has indicated however,
that if the designation process has commenced at the time the work
is completed, the grants would be processed. In this instance, it
was imperative that the work be completed before more structural
damage occurred. Because the designation process was commenced
when the work was completed it is recommended that the grant
application submitted by Mr. and Mrs . Murray, in the amount of
$2,027 .48 be approved.
