TR-22-82a(as amended) SUBJECT: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RE: PETERBOROUGH VICTORIA NORTHUMBERLAND NEWCASTLE SEPARATE SCHOOL BOARD LEVY TO AMEND TR-19-82. RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended: 1 . That this report be received and the attached pages be received amendments to TR-19-82. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: The Separate School Board Requisition was received April 27, 1982 too late for inclusion in Report TR-19-82 included on the May 3, 1982 Agenda of the General Purpose and Administration Meeting. The amended pages are attached to replace the incomplete pages in TR-19-82. The levy results in the following mill rates for the Elementary Separate School Supporters: Residential and Farm 91.29 Mills Business and Commercial 107.40 Mills The amount of the levy is $ 236,032 The total base mill rate for Residential Separate School Supporters is 322.91 Mills and for Business and Commercial Separate School Supporters is 379.90 Mills. In accordance with Section 214(3) of the Education Act, any difference determined on the basis of actual data shall be adjusted in the levy for 1983. Hach'e, Trustee Corporation of the Town of Newcastle By-Law Number 82- BEING A BY-LAW TO ADOPT THE ESTIMATES OF ALL SUMS REQUIRED DURING THE YEAR FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES AND TO STRIKE THE RATES OF TAXATION FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE YEAR 1982. WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle has, in accordance with the Municipal Act, considered the estimates of the Municipality and it is necessary that the following sums be raised by means of taxation for the year 1982.
