Report to the Chairman and Members of the General Purpose and Administration
Meeting held November 9, 1981 .
Report No. TR-87-81
Subject: Monies to be transferred to the Reserve for Self-
Insured Losses.
Recommendation:
It is respectfully recommended:
1 . That this report be. received; and
2. That the Treasurer be authorized to transfer
$ 7,400.00 to the Reserve for Self-Insured
Losses for the 1981 fiscal year.
Background and Comment:
Subsequent to council 's apprayal of the insurance programme
for the 1981-1982 premium year, the Treasurer requires approval to
transfer the premium savings to the newly established reserve, The
amount to be transferred will be charged to each department's insurance
account on a pro rata basis.
In future years the Treasury will ascertain from our insurers
the premium savings realized through. the increased deductability limits.
