SUBJECT: Expenditures from Industrial Development Reserve Fund
Account #5001-003-004
ITEM: TR-73-81
RECOMMENDATION:
That certain expenditures in respect of the preparation and
deposit of reference Plan 1OR-1321 be approved for payment, by
resolution of Council , out of account #5001-003-004.
REPORT:
Plan IOR-1321 depicts the lands sold or being sold by the Town
to the following parties:
Part 1. to Port Darlington Marina
Part 2. to Andre Wiggers
The- lands detailed as Lots 7, 8, and 9, Blocks F & G were sold in
late 1979 to Port Darlington Marina. However, the preparation of
a plan was made necessary when it was discovered that the unopened
portion of Smart Avenue shown thereon, was not closed by by-law.
We engaged the services of Merrill D. Brown, Limited, in respect of
the preparation of the forementioned plan. He has submitted his
invoice in the amount of $97.00 for services rendered.
Since the expenditures are related to industrial land, it is
appropriate that these charges be paid out of the Industrial
Development Reserve Fund, #5001-003-004.
