Subject: Insurance Coverage
Recommendation:
It is respectfully recommended:
1. That this report be received for information.
Background and Comments:
The insurance coverage of the Town has undergone a review by
members of our staff and of Frank Cowan Company Limited. A revised inventory
has been prepared updating the values of the various coverages. This information
is presently with the insurer's underwriters for a re-evaluation of the premiums
associated with the various coverages.
This review should be completed and a report with our recommendations
be put forward to Committee within the next month. Mr. Dave Reed of the Frank
Cowan Company Limited will be available at that time to answer any questions
or clarify any matters which might be of concern tothe Committee with regard to
our insurance coverages.
