Degroot, Treasurer "t DATE: September 4th, 1980 SUBJECT: Resolution #C-80-1091 The resolutions as requested are set out 'as follows: Resolution ##C-551-79 Moved by Councillor Holliday, seconded by Councillor Prout WHEREAS the Province has provided for additional compensation for expenses as amended in Section 389 of the Municipal Act, Bill 80; AND WHEREAS the associated remuneration is considered to be inadequate to compensate for incidental travelling expenses associated with Council, and Committee, and other meetings required by Council; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council approve the authorization of payment of expenses for automobile mileage for Council Members (by by-law) and in conformity with present Town Policy for Mileage Expense. Resolution #PD-198-79 Moved by Mayor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Hobbs (c) Mr. David Greenspan be authorized to represent the Municipality at those hearings, related to the Bowmanville commercial issue as well as the Courtice Hearings; Resolution #GS--118-79 Moved by Councillor Clarke, seconded by Councillor Barr THAT the operation of the Orono Town Hall be handed over to the Hall Board on July 1st, 1979 and that a sum of $2,500.00 plus accounts receivable, be credited to them for 1979 for the operation of the Hall. -2- Resolution #C-1108-79 Moved by Councillor Cowman, seconded by Councillor Hobbs THAT Mr. Greenspan be instructed to continue his preparation for the O.M.B. Hearing regarding Official Plan Amendment for the Bowmanville Mall Phase 3. Resolution #W-167-79 Moved by Councillor Clarke, seconded by Councillor Prout THAT the verges within the confines of the Hamlet of Leskard be oiled or calciumed as a temporary measure for the alleviation of the dust problem. f t: `d A.
