SUBJECT: Public Works Budget - Account #7202-202 (Conventions)
As a result of a review of the May 31st, 1980 Budget Review it was
noted that account #7202-202 (Conventions) was overspent by $575.00
for 1980.
In reviewing the account with Mr. Dtu-AiT-n it was noted that the 1980
Budget Proposal for account #7202-202 was $1,500.00 and during
January, February and March 1980 the following resolutions authorized
the following expenditures:

TOTAL $1,075.00
On March 26th, 1980 the Council by resolution #C-80-488 reduced the
1980 budget allocation for account #7202-202 to $500.00 thus putting
this function in a deficit position, notwithstanding the prior Council
approvals given as previous listed.
To correct this situation I would reconmend that the Worlm Conmittee
request Council to transfer the wnow-it of $575.00 from the Contingency
Account to cover this over-expenditure as prior approvals were given
by Council.
