SUBJECT*. Remembrancy Day, 1979
In the report of the Finance and Administration Committee it is recommended
to Council that November 9th, 1979 be given as the lieu day for November
llth, 1979 in accordance with Article 26:02 of the Union Contracts.
I have reviewed this matter with Department Heads and it is their feeling
that it mould be less disruptive to regular work schedules, particularly,
for Works and Recreation if Council would reconsider this matter with the
view of chagging it to Monday, November 12th, 1979.
Recommendation: That Council reconsider the recommendations of the Finance
and Administration Committee and change the date from November 9th, 1979
to November 12th, 1979.
