SUBJECT: Position of Long Range Planner, Department of
Planning and Development
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully submitted:
1. That this Report be received for information.
I am pleased to inform Committee that Mr. F. J. Archibald
has accepted the offer of the position of Long Range Planner with
the Department.
Mr. Archibald has a degree in Urban and Regional Planning
and four years of experience with Victoria County. Mr. Archibald is
married, has one child and is a resident of the Town of Newcastle.
He will assume his duties with the Department on April 21, 1981.
For the information of the Committee, seventy-three applications
for the position were received, and six people were interviewed by the
Director and the Clerk. The offer has been authorized by the Administrator.
