SUBJECT: Newcastle By-law 79-111 re-enacted by By-law 80-101
Rezoning of Subdivision - Rills of Liberty North
East Woodbridge Developments Limited

BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
The above mentioned by-law was the subject of a public hearing
convened on June 30, 1980. The Town Solicitor and Planning staff
appeared in support of the by-law which was referred to the Municipal
Board by neighbouring property owners. The Board ruled that if the
by-law were amended in part that it would consequently approve the re-
zoning of the "Rills of Liberty North" subdivision. Staff brought forward
by-law 80-101 to comply with the Municipal Board's decision. The attached
Board Order indicates that By-law 80-101 has been granted approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
That this report be received for information.
