REPORT TO THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING OF JULY 7, 1980.

SUBJECT: Schedule of Planning and Development Committee
Meetings
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
At the present time, there are seven Planning and Development
Committee meetings scheduled in the remainder of 1980:
July 21st
August 18th
September 15th
October 6th
October 27th
November 10th
November 24th.
Staff feel that it would be appropriate to cancel the August
18th meeting in view of the possible cancelling of Regional meetings
during that month and in view of annual vacations.
Staff note that the Planning and Development Committee of Newcastle
Council meets on a bi-weekly basis whereas other Committees meet monthly.

RECOMUNDATION:
That the Planning and Development Committee cancel its
meeting of August 18th, 1980.
