(416)263.2231 REPORT TO THE PLANNNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING OF MAY 12, 1980. REPORT NO. : P-92-80 SUBJECT: Land Division Committee Application LD 138/80 (Hamilton-Dodd) (Correspondence attached from Mr. B. Heming, Tyrone) BACKGROUND: The above mentioned application was approved by the Durham Regional Land Division Committee on April 28, 1980, subject to the attached conditions, including the standard condition that the appli- cant satisfy the requirements of the Town of Newcastle, "financially" and oLlle Lwise . COMMENT: As the application, in effect, creates a lot that could be develop- ed for one single family residence, the Levy By-law would require the collection of a lot development charge. Staff note that it is the owner's intention to develop these "retained" lands by plan of sub- division. The levy of $1500 may be credited against the lot develop- ment charges collected through the subdivision approval. RECOMMENDATION: 1. That this report be received for information; 2 2. That Mr. B. H.eming be advised that a lot development charge of $1500 is applicable to the subject severance . Respectfully submitted, r DNS:lb D. N. Smith, M.C.I.P. I would therefore petition this committee to waive this condition and advise the Land Division Committee of the action. Your kind consideration would be appreciated.
