SUBJECT: Proposed Official Plan Amendment Application
Windsweep Farms (1965) Ltd. and 385429 Ontario Ltd.
File: 79-46/D
BACKGROUND:
On December 12, 1979, staff received the above noted application
to amend the Durham Regional Official Plan from the Durham Regional
Planning Department. The subject application concerned lands which
had previously been dealt with by Official Plan Amendment 79-15/D(2),
the Waterfront Plan.
COMMENTS:
Inasmuch as proposed Amendment 79-15/D(2O) was endorsed by Town
Council on December 17, 1979 and dealt with by Regional Planning on
February 12, 1980, staff feel that it is not necessary for the Town to
make further comment or recommendations in respect of Official Plan
Amendment application 79-46/D. Staff note that the intent of appli-
cation 79-46/D has been addressed by the Town through Official Plan
Amendment 20 (79-15/D) .

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Planning and Development Committee recommend to
Council the following:
1. That the Region of Durham be requested to consider
the Town's comments on Official Plan amendment 20 as
applicable to Official Plan amendment application
79-46/D.
