REPORT TO THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING OF February 4, 1980
REPORT NO. : P-17-80.
SUBJECT: Tyrone Hamlet Development Plan
BACKGROUND:
The revised draft of the Hamlet Development Plan was forwarded
to the Planning and Development Committee on January 7, 1980. Plan-
ning and Development Committee passed the following resolution, #P-8-80:
"That the recommendation in Report P-5-80 be endorsed and
the report be received and staff be authorized to arrange
a public meeting to present the revised hamlet plan for
Tyrone to the public."
Council considered the above recommendation on January 14, 1980
and moved that the Hamlet Plan be referred back to the Planning and
Development Committee for further discussion on the Tyrone Plan.
COMMENT:
In light of the above, staff are prepared to review the pro-
visions of the Tyrone Plan with the Committee.

Committee members may wish to consider the attached correspon-
dence in respect of the Tyrone Plan, received by staff on January 17,
1980. The letter addressed to the Planning and Development Committee
expresses concern over the proposed change in lot area requirements.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
That the Planning and Development Committee consider the attached
correspondence in conjunction with the requested discussion on the
Tyrone Plan.
