SUBJECT: Public Meeting - Haydon Development Plan
BACKGROUND:

Fu�ther to Council's decision of January 14, 1980 to proceed
with a Public Meeting on the Haydon Development Plan, staff have
advertised this Meeting of the Committee as a Public Meeting in the
Newcastle ,Reporter and the Canadian Statesman. Staff have forwarded
a copy of the Plan to a resident spokesman in Haydon and have displayed

the plan In the Hampton Municipal Office.

COMMENT:
Staff propose the following format for the Public Meeting
(7:15 to $: 30 p.m.)

RECOMMEND[ TION:

posed Development Plan for Haydon is satisfactory, it would be appropriate
for the Committee to recommend to Council that the staff be authorized
to forward the Haydon Development Plan to Regional Council for comment
in accordance with policy 10.4.2.2 of the Durham Regional Official
Plan.
