RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council:
1. THAT Report CD-2-89 be received;
2. THAT the appointments listed in Report CD-2-89 be approved by
Council; and
3. THAT the persons named be advised of Council's decision.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The Striking Committee met on Friday, January 27, 1989 and made the
appointments listed below. It is respectfully recommended that Council
approve the following:
Bowmanville B.I.A. - Councillor Patrick Deegan
Orono B.I.A. - Councillor Diane Hamre
Newcastle B.I.A. - Councillor Frank Stapleton
Tourist Association
of Durham Region - Cathy Collacutt
