SUBJECT: PERMISSION TO OCCUPY EXISTING DWELLING DURING CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RESIDENCE. EXTENSION OF TIME. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that Council approve the following recommendations: 1 . That Clerk's Report CD-1-88 be received; and 2. That the request of Mr. Christopher Graham, P.O. Box 174, Hampton, Ontario, LOB 1JO, for an extension of three months to the agreement respecting the construction of a new dwelling on Part of Lot 17, Concession 5, former Township of Darlington, being Part 1 on Plan 1OR-1187 be approved; and 3. That Mr. Christopher Graham be advised of Council 's decision. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: Mr. C. J. Graham was, by agreement dated June 26, 1987, granted permission to occupy an existing residence while a new dwelling was constructed on the same property. On December 9th 1987, Mr. Graham advised that due to material shortages and the inability of the contractors to meet deadlines, the completion of the new residence has been delayed approximately three months. Continued . . . . ./2 Report CD-1-88 - 2 - January 25, 1988 Mr. Graham's request for an extension of the time requires the approval of Council (Section 3.22(b) Zoning By-law 84-63) . Having regard for the time of year and the length of the extension requested, staff would recommend that the request be approved.
