REPORT TO THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 23, 1984.

SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. AND MRS. JOHN WILKINSON,
119 BLUE HERON DRIVE, OSHAWA, FOR PERMISSION TO
OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME DURING THE COMPLETION OF
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR NEW RESIDENCE,
LOCATED ON LOT 8, PLAN M-747 (WINDSOR VALLEY PLACE)
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1 :: That thi:5 report be received; and
2. That the application be approved; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard
agreement permitting the use for a period not exceeding six months; and
4. That Mr. and Mrs. John Wilkinson, 119 Blue Heron Drive, Oshawa, Ontario,
L1G 6X6, be advised of Council 's decision.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
By letter dated July 10th 1984, Mr. and Mrs. John Wilkinson have requested,
that Council grant them permission to occupy a mobile home from September 1st
to December 15th 1984, during which period their new home located on Lot 8,
Plan M-747, Windsor Valley Place, will be completed. The request is occasioned
by the fact that their present residence has been sold, and they must vacate
not later than August 31st 1984.
During a discussion of the request with Mrs. Wilkinson, she advised that
construction had already commenced on their new home and it was possible that
the completion date could be earlier than December 15th 1984.

The Planning Department has indicated that they have no objection to the
approval of the application, subject, of course, to the consent being granted
for a period of not more than six months.
The request is reasonable and staff would recommend its approval.
