REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
APRIL 16, 1984.

SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. & MRS. LARRY CRYDERMAN, R. R. #1 , ENNISKILLEN,
ONTARIO, LOB 1HO, TO OCCUPY AN OLD EXISTING RESIDENCE DURING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW RESIDENTIAL DWELLING ON LOT 30,
CONCESSION 7, FORMER TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1 . That this report be received; and
2. That the application be approved, subject to the applicants meeting all
of the Town of Newcastle's requirements with respect to building permits
and clearances; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard agreement
authorizing the occupying of the existing residence during the construction
of the new home for a period not exceeding six months.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cryderman, R. R. #1 , Enniskillen, have by letter dated
March 22nd 1984, requested that the municipality give consideration to, and
grant them permission to occupy the old residence during the construction of
their new home.
The Planning Department has indicated, that they have no objection to the approval
of the request, subject only to the applicants executing the standard agreement
and meeting all of the Town 's requirements with respect to building permits

and clearances, and, of course, on the understanding that the approval
would only be for a six month period.

Vo whom it may concern
Town Council
1 (Larry Cryderman ) have been told that I must make amapp_lication
to you for permission to have two houses on one lot temporary . This is
the situation . I am building a new house hopefully starting May 1, 1984.
A lot is being seperated from my father ' s farm (Ross Cryderman) for the
>urpose of me rebuilding the original farmhouse . This is at Lot 30
(%oncession 7, Darlington .
`his new house is to be located west of the existing farm
house . When the new house is completed the old one will be torn down .
After thc: old house is torn down the hole will be filled and part will
become my driveway entrance to my garage . Please see diagram below .
