CD-20-84 - File: 60.52. 124. SUBJECT: REQUEST BY VERNON AND KATHERINE HAMILTON, BOX 115, PONTYPOOL, ONTARIO, LOA 1KO, TO OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW RESIDENTIAL DWELLING ON LOT 11, CONCESSION 10, PLAN M-748 (BURKETON STATION). RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. That this report be received; and 2. That the application be approved, subject to the applicants meeting all of the Town of Newcastle's requirements with respect to building permits and clearances; and 3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard agreement authorizing the use of a mobile home as a temporary residence on site, for a period not exceeding six months. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hamilton, Box 115, Pontypool , have by letter dated February 20th 1984, requested that the municipality give consideration to, and grant them permission to locate a mobile home, for use as a temporary residence on the construction site. During a conversation with Mr. Hamilton, he advised, that the requirement would be for a period less than six months, that his present home had been sold, and the closing date was the end of May 1984. Continued . . . . ./2 CD-20-84 - 2 - March 19, 1984 The Planning Department indicates that they have no objection to the approval of the application, subject to the applicants meeting all of the Town's requirements with respect to building permits and clearances, and, of course, on the understanding that the approval is only for a six month period.
