REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
FEBRUARY 6, 1984.

SUBJECT: STRUCTURE OF STRIKING COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the membership of the Striking Committee be
established for the balance of the term of Council .
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
The Striking Committee met to consider appointments to Boards and Committees
on January 19th 1984. At the conclusion of the meeting, Councillor Hamre
advised the Committee, that she no longer wished to be a member, having served
on the Striking Committee for a period of three years.
Mayor Rickard directed, that the matter of the membership of the Striking
Committee be brought to the attention of the General Purpose and Administration
Committee for consideration and resolution.
