BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The Dalzell application was originally submitted on January 4th 1982. The
applicant did not pursue this application, preferring to put it over from
year to year. On November 10th 1983, Mr. Dalzell submitted a new application
and proceeded to have the works totalling $15,904.46 installed. The Tile
Drainage Works have been inspected and approval of the loal application in
the amount of $9,500 is recommended by the Works Department's Inspector.

The Walraff application was submitted on May 30th 1983. Because of delays
in negotiating an agreement with a neighbour over whose lands the outfall
runs, the application could not be processed until this date. Originally,
the gross cost of the works was to be $17,200. However, because of
alterations to the drainage system, economies were introduced which reduced
the total cost to $11,400. The Tile Drainage Works have been inspected and
approval of the loan application in the amount of $6,800 is recommended by
the Works Department's Inspector.
Respectfully submitted, ,
