REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE & ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
NOVEMBER 7, 1983.

SUBJECT: L. HALLOWELL, NOTICE OF RESIGNATION - LIVESTOCK VALUER
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the matter be referred to the Striking Committee for
consideration; and
3. That Mr. L. Hallowell be thanked for his contribution to the
Town of Newcastle.
BACKGROUND' AND COMMENT:
Mr. L. Hallowell advised this department by telephone on October 21st 1983,
that he would be resigning as a Livestock Valuer for the Town of Newcastle,
effective December 31st 1983.
It would be appropriate that Mr. Hallowell be thanked for his years of
service to the Town as a Livestock Valuer and, the matter of filling the
vacancy referred to the Striking Committee for their consideration.
