REPORT TO THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 25TH 1983.
CD-50-83 - Our File: 60.52.121.
SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. & MRS. RICHARD GIBBS, 39 PINEWOOD CRESCENT,
BOX 224, PONTYPOOL, ONTARIO, FOR PERMISSION TO LOCATE AND
OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME ON A TEMPORARY BASIS DURING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR NEW RESIDENCE.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the application be approved for a period of six months from
August 6th 1983, subject to the applicants complying with all of the
Town's zoning and construction requirements; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard agreement
with the applicants.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
On Friday, July 22nd 1983, Mr. Richard Gibbs, 39 Pinewood Crescent, Pontypool ,
submitted a letter requesting permission to locate a mobile home on the
construction site for a period not exceeding six months.
Mr. Gibbs indicated, that he was unaware of the Town's requirements and as a
result was making the application at the last minute. He explained, that his
present property had been sold and that he was closing the deal on the new
property on August 5th 1983. The lands being acquired are located on the east
side of Trull 's Road (formerly Zion Rd. ) south of Taunton. (Described as
Part 1 on Reference Plan 10R-646) Mr. Gibbs indicated that he would be
submitting building plans to the Building Division of the Planning Department
shortly.

Staff would recommend therefore, that the application be approved on condition
that the applicants meet all of the Town's requirements.
