REPORT TO COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 25TH 1983.

SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. AND MRS. GARY/JEFFERY, R. R. #3, BOWMANVILLE, fC r y
FOR PERMISSION TO LOCATE AND OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME ON A
TEMPORARY BASIS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR NEW
RESIDENCE.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the application be approved for a period of six months from September
1st 1983, subject to the applicants complying with all of the Town's zoning
and construction requirements; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard Agreement with
. the applicants.
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jeffery, R. R. #3, Bowmanville, L1C 3K4. , have by letter
dated July 20th 1983, requested that Council give consideration to, and grant
them permission to move a mobile home onto their property, and occupy it during
the construction of their new home. The Jeffery's indicate, that they have sold
their present property and must vacate by August 30th 1983. In that regard,
they are requesting that the period of occupation be for six months from
September 1st 1983.
Mr. Jeffery has been in touch with the Building Division of the Planning
Department and will be submitting plans for review and approval shortly.
Staff would recommend therefore, that the application be approved on condition

that the applicants meet all of the Town's requirements.
