Rudolf Bot, 66 Falby Court, Unit 311, Ajax, Ontario, have by letter dated July 19th 1983, requested that Council give consideration to, and grant them permission to occupy a mobile home on the construction site during the final stages of construction of their new residence, located on Part of Lot 18, Concession 5, former Township of Clarke. The Bot's indicate, that all of the construction has been completed to ground level and that they hope to construct the remainder of their home and move into it in late fall . The application was discussed with Mr. Howard Wight, Chief Building Official , and he has provided the following information: (a) The building permit was issued on February 23, 198 (Permit No. 18/82) ; (b) The foundation was constructed shortly thereafter and inspected in June 1982; (c) Since that time, there has been no construction activity on site. Continued . . . . . /2 CD-48-83 - 2 - July 25, 1983 In the circumstances, having regard for the time frame established by the applicant, and the comments of Mr. Wight, a period of less than six months to complete the construction of the new residence would be in order. In that regard, I would recommend that the authorized period be a maximum of three (3) months from September 1st 1983. Respectfully submitted, David W. Oakes , A.M.C.T. Town Clerk. G"° DWO/ms Att. July 20, 1983. i July 19, 1983 . j e Clerk s Office, Town of Newcastle, Temperance St. , Bolama.nville, Ont . JUM !My, 19M Dear Mr. Oakes, We wish to ask Town Co - ` 'e mission to live in a trailer on our land in Clarke Twp. - Part of Lot lo, Concession 5,- until we can move into the house we are building there. ( 10 acres) Presently, we have a driveway, well, hydro, septic tank and tile field, and the basement and floor above it are completed. We are now' beginning the framing, and hope to move in by late fall. The site of our house and where we hope to put the trailer are hardly visible from the road because of the length of the drive- way, and because of the trees, so the trailer would not look like an eyesore in the neighbourhood. We 're hoping that we can move into the trailer by the lst of Sept . , and we will sell it when we move into the house . We trust that this meets with your approval, and look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Rudy and Rita Bot, 66 Fa lby Ct .#311, Ajax, Ont .
