REPORT TO COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 25, 1983.

SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF COUNCIL TO THE BURKETON
COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTRE BOARD,
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this Report be received; and
2. That Council appoint Councillor Ann Cowman and Councillor R. Bruce Taylor
to the Burketon Community Recreation Centre Board as Council 's representatives
for the period ending December 31st 1983; and
3. That the Board be advised of Council 's. decision. .
BACKGROUND & COMMENT:
Recommendation Number 4 of Clerk's Report CD-44-83 provided, that:
"Two Members of Council be appointed to the Board. "
Because of the ongoing involvement of Councillors Cowman and Taylor in the
Burketon Community, it would be appropriate, that Council consider appointing
them to the Board for the period ending December 31st 1983.
