SUBJECT: Refreshment Vehicle Licence 1983

RECOMMENDATION:
1. THAT this report be received, and
2. THAT Council authorize the issuing of a
Refreshment Vehicle Licence to the applicant:
Mr. Robert Kennielly

Oshawa, Ontario.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
Mr. Kennielly submitted an application for a Refreshment Vehicle Licence on
May 16, 1983. The applicant also submitted a letter from the Durham Regional
Health Unit dated April 27, 1983, which indicated that the Regional Health Unit
has no objection to the issuing of a refreshment vehicle licence.
The Newcastle Fire Department, by memorandum dated May 11, 1983, advised that
portable fire extinguishers and exits are acceptable, also propane applicances
and equipment installation meet their requirements.
Mr. Kennielly has received permission from Beckell Farms to locate his refreshment
vehicle on their property located at Concession Broken Front, Lot 30, Town of
Newcastle.
This Department would recommend the application to Council for their consideration
and approval .
