REPORT TO THE GENERAL PURPOSE & ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING OF
MAY 2, 1983.

SUBJECT: REQUEST BY MR. & MRS. LARRY COOPER, C/O 387 DICKENS DRIVE,
OSHAWA, ONTARIO, L1K 1N4, TO OCCUPY A MOBILE HOME DURING
THE REMODELLING OF A RESIDENTIAL DWELLING.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. That this report be received; and
2. That the application be approved, and that the applicants obtain all of the

necessary permits and zoning clearances from the Planning Department; and
3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard agreement
with the applicants, authorizing the use of a mobile home as a temporary
residence on site, for a period not exceeding six months.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Mr. & Mrs. Larry Cooper, c/o 387 Dickens Drive, Oshawa, have by letter, received
April 22nd 1983, requested that Council give consideration to, and grant
permission to move a mobile home for use as a temporary residence onto the
construction site. The Cooper's indicate, that they have purchased the Old
Long Sault School located on Lot 6, Concession 8, Darlington Township, and
will be renovating it for use as their family residence.
The Planning Department indicate, that the Cooper's have submitted the
necessary documents with respect to the reconstruction of the structure and
they have no objection to the application for permission to occupy the mobile
home proceeding.
