AND MRS. LEONARD GLOVER, R. R. #5, BOWMANVILLE - REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO OCCUPY EXISTING RESIDENCE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RESIDENCE RECOMMEN-DA T 1. That this report be received; and 2. That the application be approved, on condition that all necessary permits and zoning clearances are obtained from the Planning Department; and 3. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the standard agreement with the applicant, authorizing the temporary use of the existing residence during the construction of the new residence for a period not exceeding six months. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Glover, R. R. #5, Bowmanville, have by letter dated March 30th 1983, requested that Council give consideration to, and grant them permission to occupy the existing dwelling, located at R. R. #5, Bowmanville, and more particularly described as being situated on Part 1, Plan 1OR-1575, during the period necessary to construct a new residence on the same lands. They have indicated that the time required will not exceed six months. Further, as required, they have agreed to demolish the old existing residence within the same period of time. Upon discussing the application with Mr. Howard Wight, Chief Building Official , he indicated, that the Glover's had not yet made formal application for a building permit, or a demolition permit. He did advise, however, that the application for permission to occupy the existing residence should proceed, 6 f+ Continued . . . . . /2 ��� CD-23-83 - 2 - April 11, 1983 and the agreement authorized, subject to the applicants' obtaining all of the necessary permits and zoning clearances from the Planning Department.
