SUBJECT: - Appointments to Community Hall Boards for 1983
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1 . That Report CD-19-83 be received.
2. That the attached list of members of Community
Hall Boards for 1983 be confirmed.,
3. That the Secretary of each Board be so notified.
4. That the first five members named on each Board
be insured by the Town.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
At a meeting held on January 10, 1983, the matter of appointments to
Community Hall Boards was referred to the Clerk's Department.
On. January 11 , 1983, the attached letter was sent to the Secretary of
each of the Community Hall Boards and the Newcastle and Orono Arena Boards.
To date, all Hall Boards have responded. No replies have been received
from the Arena Boards.
It would be appropriate for Council to confirm the appointments, advise
the Secretary of each Board and, as indicated in the letter, insure the
first five members named on each Board.
