SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO OPERATE A HOT DOG STAND IN THE BOWMANVILLE CREEK VALLEY ON APRIL 24TH 1983 RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. That this report be received; and 2. That the request for permission to operate a hot dog stand in the Bowmanville Creek Valley on April 24th 1983 be approved; and 3. That Mr. C. Neil McGregor, Vice-Chairman, 10th Bowmanville Group Committee, 47 Second Street, Bowmanville , L1C 2B6, be so advised. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: The 10th Bowmanville Group Committee has by letter dated October 6th 1982, requested that the Town grant the Committee permission to operate a hot dog stand on the opening day of fishing on April 24th 1983. The Committee operated a stand in 1982 and seemingly now wish to make it an annual event. In anticipation of the transfer of title and authority over the Bowmanville Creek Valley Lands to the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, the Group Committee wrote to C.L.O.C.A. and received the Authority's permission to sell refreshments on April 24th 1983. C.L.O.C.A. 's permission is , of course, predicated upon the title to the lands transferring to C.L.O.C.A. by that time.
