SUBJECT: REPORT ON PARKING ENFORCEMENT IN
ORONO AND NEWCASTLE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. For the information of the General Purpose and Administration
Committee.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On September 27th 1982, the Committee passed a resolution #GPA-1097-82:
"THAT the Clerk prepare a report on the
Parking Enforcement in Orono and Newcastle
Village for the next General Purpose and
Administration Committee Meeting. "
Council authorized the hiring of Oshawa Securities Services to enforce the
parking by-law in Orono and Newcastle. The program was implemented on July 16th j
1982, and the activities listed herein cover the period from July 16th 1982 to
September 15th 1982.
