BACKGROUND AND COMMENT
1. BACKGROUND
1.1 Our report covers the month of September, 2002. It is our intent to provide
Committee with information relevant to this department, in a timely manner.
2. REPORT
2.1 The department responded to 243 calls in September and recorded total fire loss at
$115,150.00. A breakdown of calls responded to follows in the table attached.
*Standbv
As indicated in the table attached, Station 1 volunteer firefighters were activated thirteen
times, and Station 4 volunteer firefighters were activated six times, for standby. All
standby calls were as a result of Pumper 1 and Pumper 4 being tied up at emergency
calls.
